Production methods
Thiophene exists in coal tar and shale oil, can use the waste acid produced by crude benzene washing as raw material, hydrolysis at 110-150℃, hydrolysis gas generated by hydrolysis rectification tower into the top of the condenser, condensation of rectification products containing thiophene is about 15%-25%, xylene is about 50%-60%, also containing benzene, toluene, methyl thiophene and some unknown substances. Each ton of waste acid can extract about 10kg of rectification products. After dehydration with solid sodium hydroxide through rectification refining, can get 90%-95% content of thiophene products. Chemical synthesis of thiophene, butane and sulfur can be used as raw materials, butane dehydrogenation and then sulfur ring formation of thiophene, in the laboratory preparation of 1, 4-dicarbonyl compounds and phosphorus trisulfide reaction.
